About the Park
Located on the western side of McFarland and the edge of Lake Waubesa, this park is great for many different land and water activities. The northern part of the park contains one end point of the Lower Yahara River Trail, a 2.5-mile multi-use trail that connects McFarland to the City of Madison. There is a bike hub which has bicycle parking, a repair stand with tools, and a BCycle rental station. The park also has two different shelters available for reservation. Visitors may reserve a park shelter online during the operational season.
Visit Public Health Madison Dane County's website to get up-to-date information on beach water quality.
