Bike Rodeo

Each May, members of the Police Department work in conjunction with the Optimist Club of McFarland to sponsor the annual Bike Rodeo event. The intent of this program is to provide children with valuable safety information regarding bicycle operation.

During the event, children ride their bikes through various obstacle courses and compete for the chance to win a new bike. Lunch is provided at the event, as well as other prizes. Look for information on this years event on this site later in the year.
